J to attack, if there's an enemy below you, you can attack normaly to get a boost jump, just like shovel knight.

Nice game. I only suggest that the jump height decrease if you release the button before reaching max. There are parts where you need to calculate the jump to go up and down when the enemy is in the right place to get hit. It ends up being more of a problem.
